Here at the Ministry of Hair Academy we pride ourselves on the content of our Apprenticeship programmes. The Level 2 Hair Professional standard was introduced in 2017 and changed the way the delivery practice and level that could be achieved for Hairdressing and Barbering Apprentices. The Apprenticeship is designed to be delivered over a 24 month period.
In addition to the high quality up to date techniques delivered by MOHA we also include trips to Art galleries, Salon International and other areas of interest to broaden, enlighten and educate any Apprentice that trains with us.

BARBERING COURSES
Our training philosophy is to revolutionise the barbering and male grooming industry. We provide practical skilled training under the guidance of talented, qualified barbers. We aim to develop extremely strong barbers that can graduate into jobs and be extremely employable. We also have a number of local barbers that are looking to recruit barbers from MOHA so an entrance into employment is possible immediately after qualifying from our Diploma course.
MOHA uses a hands-on approach to develop the potential of each barber on our courses. Each student is provided with unlimited models so skills are developed at rate that is not offered in any other training provider in Essex. Simply put, the more haircuts and shaves that you do, the better you will become. Our expert barbering trainers provide you with support on each cut and shave that you do, so you get constant feedback to improve.
We also have our ‘ Pop – Up’ training team that can come to your salon for demonstrations and training on a selection of our barbering courses if that is more convenient for you and your salon team.

Ministry of Hair Academy began in 2018 with our three co-founders wanting make a difference in the Hairdressing Training culture.
The main Aspects of what we wanted to achieve was creating an exciting realistic hair environment for Apprentices and Private students to train within.
We believe that there is a gap in the training industry for Apprentices and wanted to create a higher level Quality of stylist to meet employer and client’s needs.
We created a salon training environment with a difference. A salon where students needs are met by a highly trained professional team.
